GENERIC mix cd FOR my Volleyball class

So I have this volleyball class and the teacher has a boombox with real crap sound quality. I need to make a generic mix cd so that just about everyone in the class will like it. The target audience is 18-24 year olds at the university of georgia. I have a feeling they like mostly hiphop (because who doesn't these days). Also, the music has to be upbeat (we're gonna be playing volleyball). Post some songs, 1-10 or something, that could fit on this cd. I'll tell you what my first mix I played in class was in a bit.

Some of those south park songs would be sweet to play volleyball to, like that song "Let's fighting love" from that one anime episode.

my mix, which is only ok, was (off the top of my head and not in the same order):
1)royksopp - remind me
2)zombina and the skeletones - spring heeled jack
3)belle and sebastian - we are the sleepyheads
4)the smiths - this charming man
5)the sea and cake - lamont's lament
6)buzzcocks - everybody's happy nowadays
7)nada surf - hi-speed soul
8)biz markie - just a friend (joke song that happens to be good)
9)karate - with age
10)the mice - second best
11)thingy - mayday (for some reason this sounded like crap on his boombox)
12)red red meat - taxidermy blues in reverse
13)pixies - hey
14)placebo - special k
15)king creosote - klutz

-this mix might not have been good enough (some songs are slow. some might be too plain or too annoying). anyways, some songs I couldn't go wrong with (i think) - the mice, pixies, placebo, royksopp, the mice, belle and sebastian.

thats all I remember that was on my mix. some other people on soulseek are telling me that on my next mix I should try weezer, red hot chili peppers, the shins, green day... I don't really know what particular songs I would use with these groups.

I'm thinking that the new mix will have a talking heads song or byrne song. Maybe dance on vaseline. And these songs...
Del The Funky Homosapien - Mr. Dobalina
Black Eyed Peas - Rap Song
The Strokes - Is This It
Dexy's Midnight Runners - Come On Eileen

I don't want to make a sucky mix

Nothing wrong with making a nice mix that everyone likes. If they do like it, I can keep on making mixes every week. Seriously, I don't know what you are getting at. I'm 24 btw.

When I say generic, I mean pleasing to the masses. It doesn't have to be all unoriginal songs.
