This is the first album that made me realise that fadeouts annoy me. (I wanna be your dog, Ann)

Still, ultra mega classic plus, all of it.

StanM, Monday, 5 November 2007 10:19 (eighteen years ago)

Oh, the deluxe 2CD version...

One day I will reinstate the full versions of those 2 tracks and burn them for the car!

"(How Much Is) That Doggie in the Window?"

JN$OT, Monday, 5 November 2007 10:38 (eighteen years ago)

One for "We Will Fall." I made a Halloween mix CD for a few friends and it was a perfect opening track (faded into the next a couple minutes in though).

Telephone thing, Monday, 5 November 2007 10:41 (eighteen years ago)

Aye right, "We Will Fall" really is better than "1969" or "I Wanna Be Your Dog" or whatever

Tom D., Monday, 5 November 2007 10:43 (eighteen years ago)

"we will fall" is as much a john cale track as the stooges, no? anyway I voet "No Fun"

m coleman, Monday, 5 November 2007 10:58 (eighteen years ago)

Voted for "No Fun" because it's a simple song that drags you along with it's rhythm until you're jumping around the room. And the original is way better than the Pistol's cover version, which sounds like a sloppy mess by comparison.

snoball, Monday, 5 November 2007 12:22 (eighteen years ago)

"1969," baby.

Alex in NYC, Monday, 5 November 2007 12:32 (eighteen years ago)

stevie, Monday, 5 November 2007 14:13 (eighteen years ago)

This is the only Stooges album I can listen to at all. I just can't take the others.

Geir Hongro, Monday, 5 November 2007 14:17 (eighteen years ago)

RIGHT NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
(heavy riffage)

sexyDancer, Monday, 5 November 2007 15:44 (eighteen years ago)

"Little Doll" seconded. As perfect an album-summing-up as I've heard. Ooh, but I love the fuzzy creepiness of "Ann" too...

Sara Sara Sara, Monday, 5 November 2007 15:51 (eighteen years ago)

Hmm, I never really likes that one much, in spite of my having a crush on a girl named Ann 'round about the time I first discovered this album. Also, "We Will Fall" really drags after a while. But at least it makes me laugh out loud every time Ig's vocal comes through the mix.

JN$OT, Monday, 5 November 2007 16:04 (eighteen years ago)

We Will Fall was always a sure sign that the DJ on air was in the shitter. But I've learned to enjoy it. But Cale's one note piano in "Dog" just kills me.

I Wanna Be Your Dog

talrose, Tuesday, 6 November 2007 05:03 (eighteen years ago)

Sandy Blair, Tuesday, 6 November 2007 07:51 (eighteen years ago)

when i was 18 i wanna be your dog was the best song ever.
now i love "real cool time" more.or "not right" maybe

Zeno, Tuesday, 6 November 2007 14:42 (eighteen years ago)

Again, "1969". It's all about the Diddley beats.

Myonga Vön Bontee, Tuesday, 6 November 2007 15:21 (eighteen years ago)

You know, I like this poll much more than my other polls of recent.

I feel alright!

(oops,that's fun house!)

Mark G, Monday, 12 November 2007 08:53 (eighteen years ago)

I wish I'd voted "Ann" now. Especially the "full" version.

Mark G, Monday, 12 November 2007 11:18 (eighteen years ago)

obvious results

Zeno, Monday, 12 November 2007 13:27 (eighteen years ago)

Is there any truth to the rumour that Iggy's performance on "1969" is the inspiration for Beavis's voice from Beavis & Butthead?

snoball, Monday, 12 November 2007 13:35 (eighteen years ago)

Nice! Did you get the scoop on that?

Solaris Ocean Blue (James Redd and the Blecchs), Friday, 18 February 2022 14:07 (three years ago)

My wife had heard about it somehow ( maybe on twitter) & she mentioned it to me. Some others had actually tweeted it already
