The new video for Sunglasses At Night is rubbish

They've gone and done a new video for "Sunglasses At Night", and it is this: useless. The original (which only ever got shown on MTV2's "2 Eclectic" for some reason) was a quite good minimalist thing with a scary looking drag queen with massive lips - it fitted the song well. The new one is like a really bad James Bond credit sequence - stupid dancing, half naked ladies, bubbly water backgrounds etc, which just makes it all seem really crap. Why can't they leave things alone?

What are you talking about? Corey Hart?

i wonder if this Corey Hary track was a hit in the UK - i'd never heard of it until this cover version

it was a mistake to be rehashing cory heart in the first place. equally as bad is the sugababes song "freak like me" (or something like that) - a mockery of numans "are friends electric". if your going to "borrow" someone else's music you should at least attempt to improve things.

Luckily Sugababes does and then some - single of the year. "Sunglasses At Night" is rub though.
