"15 Step", what a phantastic mercurial opener. After that, not much. Finishing with "Videotape", a ballad I never want to listen to again in my life. It sounds like a sucked out chewing gum.

I think Jigsaw Falling into Place may be my least favorite now. The only real thing I love about the song is Thom's hop up to a higher register a little bit into the second verse.

Yeah, I agree that Videotape is not so great, but I do think the song improved vastly with the added percussion. The only song I skip on this album is "House of Cards." Where is the love for Faust Arp?

I find Videotape very boring.
yeah, it's a nonsense. jigsaw has some nice arpeggios and a cool build up.
said brother played me a nice acoustic version of the song Kid A on guitar the other day. I was impressed because I'd never even really thought of it as a proper song you could play on guitar.

yes, definitely. it's their most 'mellow' of their later era and the easiest to listen to.
Come to think of it, this album is pretty much founded on a fixation with arpeggios.
