The other thread was getting unwieldly, so for your listening ease, here are those mixes. Check that thread for covers and tracklistings and what not. Would be good if voters got a chance to hear as many as possible, so voting probably won't be for some time. So go on, put your ears near these beauties:

(Could those who posted only temporary links, please find somewhere to stroe them permanently? It would help a lot! I understand a lot of these links will be old by now - can anyone find a home for some of these?)

- Tape Store - Never Been to a Dance Club, But I Bet It Sounds Like This

Errrm, I don't know if it makes sense to upload another another smaller version of my mix, as the one there is in 320 which is great and all, but if it makes sense to offer a 192(VBR) or so version than alas it shall be done.

For fucks sake, the link is already dead. Alright here is a new link, still 320, with a good old fashioned Megaupload life span.

definitely check out the other thread, I don't know if it's important but we were supposed to state how we made the mix. Was that supposed to be taken into consideration upon judgement time? Or do we let the music speak for itself, man?

Well my mix was recorded with two Edison Wax Cylinders, a giant A/B switch and recorded onto a world war 2 era german manufactured wire recorder, then mastered in Alchemy on a Mac SE/30.

I created mine out of thin air.

I guess how it was made/what's on it is up to the voter how important it is. Yes, if you want to know this, def check other thread.

reel to reel, bro

tbh I'm not that interested in the voting, I was just glad to have the motivation / deadline

dmr, Wednesday, 7 November 2007 22:03 (eighteen years ago)

Mine can only be listened to by reading IBM punchcards.

Spencer Chow, Wednesday, 7 November 2007 22:04 (eighteen years ago)

Vinyl punchcards.
