the eminem/fiddy/timbo/furtado thing just seemed like something from five years ago. or ten years ago. same with green day. and that guy at the end who i've never heard of doing the s&m disco thing felt like some sort of fever dream that i couldn't wake up from.

I think that Adam Lambert (American idol participant) thing at the end has gotten lots of attention. I only saw part of the Lady Gaga sideshow. I kinda liked the Eminem thing but yea it mostly felt like something from back when.

It's definately got crossover elements. Ne-yo was really getting into the song at the awards. As forced and overdramatic as it is, I like the hook, but some of Jay's verses seem kind forced and busy.
