Songs for Swinging Larvae & Arabic Yodelling = five star albums & Elbow is good too. you rarely get production that strange married to songs that are that well written

they seem to be working together again writing music for a stage show, two new songs on their myspace page, first in 20+ years. they're good.

super fans should search internet for the two unreleased albums Struvé and Streff' (original 1979 cassette version, different mixes & two long jams that didn't make it to the later version) & It Was What It Was (outtakes / b-sides / demos from the 3 studio albums). there are some early EPs I haven't heard that might have some things hiding on them as well.

Also, 13 years ago, Milton mentions a possible stage show; from Spotify and Wikipedia it appears they in 2018 finally held their first gig!? :-D

yeah that's up there with Tribe's Gentle Giant + Moebius/Plank track. been meaning to check out the whole new Madlib

the whole track is loops of 'Critical Dance', though it's the original version off 'Arabic Yodelling' not the one on 'Elbow'

these records always turn up in good company, I remember Autechre's first two 10 hour DJ streams when they'd segue away from Detroit or breaks and go straight into RATL and they weren't doing it to be weird, it worked
