Guns 'n' Roses' "Chinese Democracy" is gonna sell like hotcakes when it finally comes out.

But they never really went away!

Poison tour every year. Europe re-released the Final Countdown a few years back. Bon Jovi are still one of the world's biggest bands.

What a great list of bands...I wish Skid Row would make a comeback!

Bon Jovi are one of the worlds biggest bands in the same way that the Bee Gees are one of the worlds biggest bands - 1) not really 2) denying their period of peak popularity ("we were never really hair metal").

I'll lay my money on Cinderalla... I think they're touring with Poison right now.

For 'when' read 'if,' surely. Now imagine how long an Axl Rose/Kevin Shields collaboration would take.

Philadelphia's contribution to poodle-metal, Britny Fox, has reformed and apparently will tour. Now aren't you upset that you've moved cross-country, Jess?

Lest anyone has forgotten Britny Fox, here's a refreshing recollection:

Skid Row backwards: Wor Diks

It's impossible to even imagine anyone ever visually embodying poodle rock better than Britny Fox. Appalling name, too.

dAmm here I thought it was a Kim Mitchell thread.

Hairmetal never died on a certain area of Los Angeles. "Sunset Strip: Rockin' like it's 1986". Sad. I imagine all the Trashboy london indie bands are preparing the hair metalreturn as we speak. Tottenham Court Rd: Rockin like Mr Nikki Syxx".
