dylannn, Thursday, 29 November 2007 20:23 (seventeen years ago)

I can't choose with this album! Nearly every track is amazing! I really love "We Did It" and "Smooth Chick" and "Bus A Rhyme" and "All'N My Grill" and "Sticking Chickens" and "Hot Boyz" and "U Can't Resist" and "Mr DJ" and... see, that's 8 tracks already!

Also, the amazing plunge into darkness halfway through "You Don't Know"!

See, I just look at the tracklisting and immediately know this is my favourite Missy album.

Tim F, Friday, 30 November 2007 00:23 (seventeen years ago)

I think I'd have to give my fave vote to Under Construction

Shakey Mo Collier, Friday, 30 November 2007 00:25 (seventeen years ago)

energy flash gordon, Friday, 30 November 2007 02:38 (seventeen years ago)

eleven months pass...

Missy's most consistent album by a long way. There are at least six tracks I'd happily vote for, I'll have to think about this. Luckily I have almost a year!

ALL N MY GRILL

am tempted to vote for the version w/the sellotaped-on mc solaar verse cuz my a-level french teacher played it for us as an ecoutez exercise but...actually no. and actually i might vote 'mr dj' just for lady saw's centrifugal force. agh this album is so perfect!!

lex pretend, Thursday, 6 November 2008 19:24 (sixteen years ago)

luckily it appears i have nearly a year to decide

lex pretend, Thursday, 6 November 2008 19:25 (sixteen years ago)

Mr DJ is incredible, particularly the synth string stabs in the second half.

chap, Thursday, 6 November 2008 19:26 (sixteen years ago)

MR DJ PLAY DAT ONE MORE TIME
SO ME AND MISSY ELLIOTT CAN MOVE WE WAISTLINE

AMAZING ALBUM.

Tim F, Wednesday, 9 September 2009 23:15 (fifteen years ago)

whole mc solaar exchange in this thread is classic

some dude, Thursday, 10 September 2009 01:05 (fifteen years ago)

right now i'm feeling mr dj with lady saw the most, but it always changes. the album is second only to so addictive.

mr. anephric (the anephric project), Thursday, 10 September 2009 01:27 (fifteen years ago)

yo mommy, mommy, missy done lost her mind -
i think somebody done pissed her off this time!

lol I was just reading summat today about "what if the * in 'She's a B*tch' is a 'u'?" it was in this book:

flowers for algernod (The Reverend), Thursday, 10 September 2009 09:31 (fifteen years ago)

voted for stickin chickens

not sure if the 2nd half kills the 1st half or if i was just way more in the mood for this album on the drive home than i was on the way to work

it really is crazy to listen to this album and realize it's the only time Eminem or Big Boi or Redman or Juvenile or B.G. has ever been on a Timbaland beat

should've voted for "Smooth Chick" in retrospect

some dude, Friday, 1 July 2011 21:47 (thirteen years ago)

HOLD ON

up until 2 minutes ago i thought the chorus of "u can't resist" was "ain't no nuts but you can't resist"

is this totally insane? i'm still not sure that lyric sites have this completely wrong

J0rdan S., Thursday, 23 May 2013 20:44 (twelve years ago)

I always assumed that too.

Tim F, Thursday, 23 May 2013 20:48 (twelve years ago)

AHHHHH now I need to listen to this brilliant album again.

Tim F, Thursday, 23 May 2013 20:48 (twelve years ago)

lyric sites have "hatin' on us" but i think we're right

J0rdan S., Thursday, 23 May 2013 20:54 (twelve years ago)

twelve years pass...

Sometimes I put on this record and just marvel that it exists
