i don't know some of these. and i didn't know "androgynous" was a single (or a video). but that's a lot of great singles.

(oops i didn't look close that's not a real video. but the wikipedia list sez it was a real single, so close enough.)

yeah i'm guessing it's mostly "bad reputation" vs. "crimson & clover." with some "i love rock 'n' roll" outliers, plus assorted wild cards. i could almost go "victim of circumstance."

but who'm i kidding, her "crimson & clover" is like one of my 10 favorite songs of all time.

I'm going to bat for her hair metal days: "I Hate Myself.." - but my love for Freaks & Geeks really makes me want to vote for "Bad Reputation."

(nb: the "cherry bomb" on the list is her re-recording, not the runaways' version. which is still totally great and all, just noting for the record.)

I really liked her cover of the Gits' "Second Skin" (under the name EVIL STIG), but -- y'know, that's not here. So I'm going with "Bad Reputation," `cos it rocks.

Watching her videos on youtube give me a warm feeeling, if you know what I mean. Sexy as all hell get out.

I love her "Roadrunner." Obviously a very different beast than Richman's, but I don't think the polish hurts it any. The backing vox are ace.

Evil Stig album is awesome!

So many good songs!

Finally got a chance to see her live last night, she sounded great and the band rocked. She blew a few lyrics but it's probably hard to pay attention to which verse you're in the 8,000th time you sing "Crimson and Clover." Super fun show, and she still seems cooler than anyone I've ever met.

I was especially happy to hear "Light of Day" and "Androgynous," neither of which I was sure she'd do.

Her cover of "Season of the Witch" is pretty damn cool.

Can I just say what an inspired choice she's been the two or so times Nirvana "reunited?" She's cool, her voice is perfect, and she's one of the few substitute Cobains that no one would complain about.
