Her vocal harmonies are fucking undeniable. Ohio the Homeland!

From her myspace:

The Other Side of the Mountain is now available to purchase from Pickled Eggs website www.pickled-egg.co.uk. Order now to be in time to fill Christmas stockings and similar. It takes paypal, and service always comes with a smile.

The official release date is January 28th, when it shall be propelled into reputable record shops. Please form an orderly queue. Touring shall commence in the Spring. If there's any interested gig promoters out there, particularly with any wishes to put shows on in 'interesting' venues (churches, museums, village halls, galleries... so and so forth) then get in touch, or contact Pickled Egg.

Hope you enjoy the music. Thank you for listening.

p.s. don't forget The Winter Journey live debut this Saturday. If Simon & Garfunkel had used more tap dancing in their act, it might have been similar.

Ohio the Homeland=song of the year

she was one of Tom Ravenscroft's favourites on his SlashMusic show last year.

two years pass...

those echoey harmonies at the of "Many Happy Returns" are totally intoxicating, especially if you turn the volume up and pretend you're in a cathedral surrounded by a choir of Suzy Mangions. I hear that song as a deliberate homage to the Beach Boys' "I Just Wasn't Made for these Times," but maybe it's just me.

("at the end of 'Many Happy Returns,'" I mean)
