she's got a pretty good greatest hits going doesn't she? especially if you add in the guest spots. still, "oh" by if not a country mile at least a city block.

tipsy mothra, Monday, 17 December 2007 03:06 (eighteen years ago)

2d vote for "oh" -- the song that sounds like gary numan gone crunk.

Eisbaer, Monday, 17 December 2007 05:56 (eighteen years ago)

r.i.p. lex

J0rdan S., Monday, 17 December 2007 06:01 (eighteen years ago)

her only great single since "oh" is "promise". all those other ones blow. i'm voting "goodies"

J0rdan S., Monday, 17 December 2007 06:02 (eighteen years ago)

the weird dance moves in the video for "like a boy" pwn her music

Drew Daniel, Monday, 17 December 2007 06:13 (eighteen years ago)

Naw...I enjoy "Get Up" and "Like a Boy" just as much as her first couple singles...

Also, Bang It Up should be a single.

Ultimately, though, it's between "Oh" and "Promise"

Tape Store, Monday, 17 December 2007 06:20 (eighteen years ago)

This needs Pollow's "Get Up" remix something bad. As is, "1, 2 Step" and "Promise" are just about perfect or better and I'm not sure which one I want to vote for.

The Reverend, Monday, 17 December 2007 07:37 (eighteen years ago)

Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.

ILX System, Tuesday, 18 December 2007 00:01 (eighteen years ago)

"Promise" is great, "1, 2 Step" is good too. Couple other okay ones but really, fuck the rest.

Alex in Baltimore, Tuesday, 18 December 2007 01:51 (eighteen years ago)

yeah yeah the thread title makes me wanna throw all my ciara records in the bin too but let's not exaggerate, this is a good body of stuff

i will say though that she gave up on evolution too soon singleswise, and that that may perhaps have given her the air of flattering to decieve for some people. shouldve been 'bang it up' and 'crush' instead of 50 and lil jon (who was a pussy for not doing a verse on 'crush' in the first place.)

r|t|c, Tuesday, 18 December 2007 02:46 (eighteen years ago)

anyway,

best: promise
worst: promise rmx

Automatic thread bump. This poll's results are now in.

ILX System, Wednesday, 19 December 2007 00:01 (eighteen years ago)

Oh, I forgot to vote. Add another to "1, 2 Step" I guess.

The Reverend, Wednesday, 19 December 2007 00:03 (eighteen years ago)

"So What" is a bit too awesome to have been forgotten as quickly as it was.

The Reverend, Wednesday, 19 December 2007 00:04 (eighteen years ago)

didn't see this. would have voted 'oh'. ranked:

oh
promise
get up
promise ring
so what
1, 2 step
like a boy
wanna move
lose control
goodies
that's right
like you
and i
can't leave em alone

dbs, Wednesday, 19 December 2007 15:01 (eighteen years ago)

Would have voted for "Goodies."

Ioannis, Wednesday, 19 December 2007 15:12 (eighteen years ago)

one year passes...

there's this one moment on "hotline" where ciara sounds like lady gaga, she's like kind of screaming in the background

valerie (surm), Friday, 5 November 2010 03:39 (fifteen years ago)

it's beautiful

valerie (surm), Friday, 5 November 2010 03:39 (fifteen years ago)

how did Promise lose this?

Number None, Saturday, 21 July 2012 00:35 (thirteen years ago)

it was only like a year old when this thread was done, i think it grew into its classic status a bit since then. also ilm has always massively overrated "oh."

"So What" is a bit too awesome to have been forgotten as quickly as it was.

I heard this song on the radio like a week ago. Still love it!

chain the color of am0n (The Reverend), Saturday, 21 July 2012 02:07 (thirteen years ago)

yeah "so what" is probably my #2, such a smooth joint

Al S. Burr! (k3vin k.), Saturday, 21 July 2012 02:08 (thirteen years ago)

it's weird to think that since this poll was made ciara's discography has grown even more amazing even as her public profile has become even more irrelevant ;_;

bitch I'm on the 242 (lex pretend), Saturday, 21 July 2012 09:43 (thirteen years ago)
