okay so look i don't mean to be all lbzc kru riding the lex zzz but the thing is with that channel u compilation, regardless even of quality judgements (and a lot of it is really good, 4 stars otm) there is just SO MUCH to say that no one has really ever said about the weird mystery limbo channel u operates in in terms of how it relates to the greater uk music consciousness!

i mean it's not like i even know where to begin myself (and certainly not in a meagre wordlimit review structure) but settling for cliche sloganeerings that even graun readers are probably wise to is just not very good work at all

moreover it is also a really really random varied comp with its broken beat ballads and reflective piano raps and god knows what else, so much more than 'club bangers' and mobile phones on the bus

also it is 6 months old lol but nm

anyway sorry to go off on one!

Channel U is fucking great. If I had sky I would watch it every night.
I haven't heard that comp but I love the fact that kids can just send it their videos and vote for it to get played.
Plus there is like 0% chance of a Nickleback video coming on so its all good.
