All great albums, and I vote Bossanova because it's my personal favorite. Trompe is my second fave. Doolittle will win this poll, and it's the first of the five I'd give up.

i would say Noodle Vague OTM, but after some time & distance I've kinda realized that I like Doolittle >> Surfer Rosa.

i went with doolittle (although it's pretty tough to choose between that and surfer rosa), but these days i think i listen to the cd i burned of the purple tape (come on pilgrim + that cd spinart put out a few years ago) the most. not that i listen to the pixies that much anymore, i think i kinda became burnt out on them after seeing them on the reunion tour. not that i didn't enjoy the show, it was a treat to go to the enormodome and see them play.

Actually, every Pixies album has a shit second half, doesn't it? Part of my reasoning for Bossanova is that it has the least shit second half of any Pixies album, and the first half is about up to the same standard of the others.
