damn, I knew I'd forget something, 2003 was also the year that R. wrote/produced nearly all of albums by the Isley Bros. and JS (including the singles "What Would You Do" and "Busted" and "Ice Cream"), so that's a bunch for the 'other' category.

I'm voting "Ignition (remix)," I got lots and lots of love for a bunch of these especially the Snake remix which is great, but come on. The Ignition remix made me feel so goddamn good. It was that rare pop song that could seriously just flip my day around instantly, and I was having some pretty shitty days when it came out. Just total joy.

Close in also would be "Been Around the World" for me.
