Someone told me that these two bands are touring together in '08 and hitting Portland. How crazy/cool might that be?

The Pretty Things have a new album out too, but I haven't heard it yet. They played Chicago in 2000 or so when I still lived there and I haven't stopped kicking myself for missing it.

A former colleague of mine was the drummer in Kingdom Come. They booted him out and replaced him with a drum machine. In 1972!

Having been turned down for Uriah Heep, said former colleague was then offered a place with a bunch of unknowns, which he rejected on the basis that they had "no future". The bunch of unknowns in question? Supertramp.
