Hipgnosis did that XTC cover right? They pretty much get a pass from me always, because of the humor.

How about any belle and sebastian album cover! Before all the spit wads go flying, try and tell me they don't wear pretension on their sleeves (clothing or book) like a badge of honor.

That XTC cover is just brilliant and funny, but I can understand that a rampant anti-rockist may find it slightly pretentious. It is kind of "rockist" in mocking how pop music is very much a corporate thing.
