Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 9 January 2008 03:37 (eighteen years ago)

bring 'em out, but it's really a 4- or 5-way coin toss.

(if countdown or get it were singles, then probably one of those.)

and what, Wednesday, 9 January 2008 03:48 (eighteen years ago)

"live in the sky" is i think pretty good, loved it as an album track if not as a single.

Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 9 January 2008 03:49 (eighteen years ago)

live in the sky is that song with jamie foxx rite?

The Brainwasher, Wednesday, 9 January 2008 03:50 (eighteen years ago)

yeah i like it.

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 9 January 2008 03:50 (eighteen years ago)

'touchdown' is by far the worst song

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 9 January 2008 03:50 (eighteen years ago)

still, damn he has an impressive body of singles for a relatively short career so far (compared to luda or whoever 'fun' singles rapper who only has a handful of actual good ones)

xpost yes "touchdown" is horrible

Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 9 January 2008 03:51 (eighteen years ago)

yeah i just was thinking about how easy it was to make a top 10 for ti but i could only make like a top 7 max for luda

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 9 January 2008 03:52 (eighteen years ago)

ok do yours, let's see how dramatically different it is and how you don't need to list lame terrible songs like "You Don't Know Me" and "Rubberband Man" and "What You Know"

"ya hear me" is pretty good. as a buried album track it would seem hot. as a single it's lacking something a little.

deej loaf (D-40), Wednesday, 17 September 2014 07:19 (eleven years ago)

i miss the era when doing a worst songs list was gonna be like 3 tracks

deej loaf (D-40), Wednesday, 17 September 2014 07:20 (eleven years ago)

i dunno, he's released like 30 solo singles since '08 and there's been some pop jams and a few minor classic street records, but i'd only say that 3 or 4 of them were outright bad. he's just entered a Snoop zone of competent, unexciting ubiquity and shamelessness.

some dude, Wednesday, 17 September 2014 09:07 (eleven years ago)

'ball', 'about the money' & 'wit me', are all exciting and actively great. he's still rapping his ass off ('hot nigga' remix) too much for me to consider him snoop status

nose, Thursday, 18 September 2014 12:32 (eleven years ago)

and smh at 0 for "u don't know me"

nose, Thursday, 18 September 2014 12:32 (eleven years ago)

I thought there might be discussion about the minor success of "No Mediocre."

billstevejim, Thursday, 18 September 2014 15:36 (eleven years ago)

i'm more interested in the even more minor success of "about the money" tbh

however "yes mediocre" seems like an obvious bid for pop radio play, what with iggy azalea's inclusion... it seems to be creeping into the pop radio charts, perhaps to become the next mustardwave pop radio success after "show me" (#21 pop songs) "fancy" (#1 obv) and "don't tell 'em" (#14 and rising). and meanwhile it is creeping toward the top of rhythmic charts and doing decently on urban (just a little better than "about the money" which honestly would be doing way better in a just world).

dyl, Thursday, 18 September 2014 17:12 (eleven years ago)

i was lamenting a while back that "No Mediocre" was doing better than "About The Money," but at the moment the latter seems maybe a week or two away from peaking higher than the former on the R&B/Hip-Hop airplay charts.

some dude, Thursday, 18 September 2014 17:21 (eleven years ago)
