haha! i was assuming "bakesale" was some obscure band i'd never heard of. nope, it's the sebadoh album. haha.

i used to love this record in high school (it was kind of the first indie rock i heard, along with dino jr. and a few others, i think) but i haven't listened to it in years. i like some sebadoh stuff just fine though.

I found my cassette taped off the album the other day.

I didn't include the tracks off the free e.p. though. And neither did you.

Never liked Jason's stuff that much... although Dramamine is a contender here.

I actually listened to this for the first time in a decade last month and it sounded way better than expected. I'll go with Skull for the druggy lyrics/poppy melody.

Surprise! All songs on it suck except for "Skull," if you listen to the song once every five years and don't listen too terribly hard.

Surprise! The singer guy was a really nice guy when he lived in Northampton.

Surprise! Another guy in the band asked me about the two "girls" I was with in a club last month. When I told him that the were my girlfriend and my friend, he replied, "Oh, I always thought you were gay--you know, the earrings" (I have two small, tasteful rings in my ears).
