At least I didn't get to vote for "Apache". A classic single with a great tune and a silky perfect production that made it sound way ahead of its time.

fourteen years pass...

Never realized before that Hank Marvin and Bruce Welch were 18 when they recorded "Apache"! I'm kind of obsessed with "Wonderful Land", I even remember the first time I heard it, it was in a cinema before the film started. I love how the last note of the chorus is the first note of the verse. "Atlantis" is almost as good.
