I always thought it was "Prairie Son" but whatever. This song was a secret love of mine in high school and then I remember Paula Cole (I think that's her name) coming and playing this festival that I was working, and seeing her play it (along with the rest of a rather boring sensible shoes set) just put me off it/her.

I had this feeling you were drunk when you did this, Hoos. Doesn't make it any less entertaining. I didn't know this song before, but just reading the lyrics without knowing how it goes was pretty surreal. I liked it. Then I played it on You Tube and really didn't care for the song, but oh well.

would have voted "the dandy lion sun" or "Oh I know your back hurts from working on the tractor" for the lols, although really the high point of the song is "Oh you get me ready in your '56 Chevy," from which it's all downhill. Pretty bleak little song really. Bleah.
