Surprised that "Just Another Diamond Day" (the song) didn't chart on downloads with all the ad exposure so I don't expect this will do any better. Pity.

The single (i.e. track one on the album) seems to be a crackly vinyl, taken from a demo pressing of the original Decca single.
I'd have thought Decca, at least, would have fairly well sorted tape vaults. Even popsike has old ebay auctions of supposedly 'mint' copies of the single.

well, the version of this on "the girls scene" is clearly taken from master tapes, so i wonder how much permission universal provided for the use of tracks for this compilation
