Alison performed both "Only You" and "Don't Go" in Nottingham last night, and made the Yazoo-reformation announcement to wild acclaim. I am happy to report that vocally, she has never sounded better. This should be quite something.

Dug out Upstairs at Eric's in the wake of the news. At the risk of felching that which is so obvious that it's positively obscene, it's still entirely brilliant.

I listened to both albums for the same reason and think they're both amazing.

Ironically, off to the sale pile they go, since they'll be replaced.

grimly, there's more than one price category. at ticketmaster they only sell 45 pound tickets, but at live nation there's 35, 40 and 45

oh! nice one, stan -- i'd tried a couple of places (including livenation, although that was presale, right enough) and 45 was the cheapest. i'll look again.

Don't know how far from the stage you'll be sitting though. :-(

It's on youtube too (search yazoo and bbc) but that's from someone who put the (radio) recording next to a yazoo picture slideshow.

Anyone who knows what kind of tracklisting will be used in the new version? "Upstairs At Eric's" has had some 3 or 4 different tracklistings if you count North American and European editions.

"YAZOO have added a second London show to their forthcoming reunion tour and will now play a second show at the Hammersmith Apollo on June 19th."

LA presale begins in two hours for July 10/11 at the Orpheum. Probably go for the 11th, but I'll want to see the ticket prices first.
