I liked them a lot, too bad they're not around anymore.

Dud. Give it another five years, and no one will remember a single song they ever recorded. Heck, I was almost able to forget that horrible album cover with the zebra on it until you reminded me.

I thought they were decent. Kind of a geekier version of the Smashing Pumpkins. Their minor hit "Stars" was a terrific song which I'm sure has found its way on to a couple of college playlists.

(smashing pumpkins) ^ (dream rock) - guitar solos + songs about scientists >> smashing pumpkins !

'underappreciated', 'overlooked' etc.

josh knows what he's talkin' about. 'downward is heavenward' was pretty good i thought.

Hum good. Not as good as the Pumpkins, mind. ;-)

cds I am selling tomorrow: 'the aeroplane flies high' singles box.

Josh, Thursday, 2 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

You're only selling that back now? What, a sudden moment of revelation?

Ned Raggett, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

finally overcame overwhelming reluctance to part with cds I have not listened to in 4 years

Josh, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

A phase I doubt I will ever fully reach with most of what I've got around here...

Ned Raggett, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
