2008 looks to be about young black women:
what does this even mean
― The Brainwasher, Thursday, 7 February 2008 20:03 (eighteen years ago)
It means that a handful of young, black women seem poised to make a major impact on american and, by extension, international pop music both artistically and financially; perhaps to a greater extent and degree than has been the case for several years.
Let me know if this requires further clarification.
― forksclovetofu, Thursday, 7 February 2008 22:03 (eighteen years ago)
i don't see how if differs from any other year... especially with the three examples you gave i mean lil mama's album has been pushed back like 20 times and her 2nd single flopped and kid sister and teyana will probably just be novelty acts.

This is not good, yāall. Itās Ā«goodĀ». Thereās no depth to it. Her 2014 album was way better.
― human and working on getting beer (longneck), Tuesday, 26 June 2018 06:14 (seven years ago)
wow this is disappointing
― boxedjoy, Tuesday, 26 June 2018 16:01 (seven years ago)
the ambient ballad about a threesome to make your man happy is the high point of this album, really says a lot
a real shame because she and her voice deserve far better than this
― boxedjoy, Tuesday, 26 June 2018 16:03 (seven years ago)
new one is the best she's ever sounded
