I can't decide between Blueberry Boat, Straight Street or Turning Round.

Probably the titular one.

Yes, Chris Michaels is the winner - it's at least three perfect songs made in one.
The other favourite is Mason City.

I just cant get over Turning Round.
It's simple and repetitive yet, AMAZING.

one of the best albums from this decade.

I have recently come to love Chief Inspector Blancheflower, but it is still no Blueberry Boat. I just can't get over that electro beat.
C'mon, more people need to vote for this.

I wish that "the beginning of Quay Cur, before it gets annoying" and "the beginning of Chris Michaels, before it gets annoying" had been options! I would have voted.

hahahahah

"the beginning of ___________, before it gets annoying" = story of the Fiery Furnaces' discography

fourteen years pass...

My wife’s aunt and uncle, who we visit at this time of year, have an old electric organ. I always have to play the ending of “Wolf Notes” on it; not the best song on the album, but one of the most striking moments. A prog-rock group might have built a whole movement out of it, but instead it ends the album on a question mark?

Halfway there but for you, Sunday, 25 December 2022 23:18 (three years ago)

That question being 'do you believe what you've just heard?'

imago, Sunday, 25 December 2022 23:33 (three years ago)

I'd hope you try simulate the hard panning electronics with your voice at the same time lol
