Vapourspace - Themes from Vapourspace Vladislav Delay - Anima Pharoah Sanders - Black Unity
The latter two are "real" one-track albums, meaning that they actually have just one long tune instead of several tunes mixed/sequenced into one track.

I think Lovesexy is an especially irritating example of making several tunes into one track, because I don't see any artistic reason for that. The songs are quite different and don't comprise a whole or anything, and the segues that are supposed to tie them together fell kinda artificial. There's even a silence between what would be side A and B on the vinyl, so maybe the CD could have had at least one break there.

I've got a Blast First CD called Nothing Short Of Total War, which is something like 20 songs - Big Black, Band of Susans, Big Stick, Rapeman - and it's just one track, no breaks, no gaps, about 50 minutes long.

Devil Doll - The Girl Who Was Death Devil Doll - Sacrilegium Their "Dies Irae" is one composition as well, but it's divided into a number of tracks.
Was EoS's "Crimson pt 2" one track as well? I never bothered to check it out.

Sleep - Jerusalem
I seem to recall my CD copy of Jerusalem being broken up into five or six tracks...
― stephen, Sunday, 3 February 2008 20:29 (seventeen years ago)
I think there are several versions of Jerusalem, some of which come as one long track. I own the Dopesmoker re-release, which also has the whole song in one track but doesn't qualify because of a bonus live song in track #2.

Sleep - Jerusalem, is several tracks.
But, Sleep - Dopesmoker, is only one. It's the same song I think...maybe slightly longer.

― Colonel Poo, Monday, 4 February 2008 10:19 (seventeen years ago)
ok the cd version is split into six tracks, wtf. plus an extra three bonus tracks.
― ledge, Monday, 4 February 2008 10:24 (seventeen years ago)
Ok, I've got a slightly off-topic question: is there a way of adding breaks to a single track in iTunes? I've downloaded podcasts in the past which have been about an hour long, but they're divided into sections that you can skip to - that's the kind of thing I want to do. At the moment I'm splitting long tracks down using Audacity.

LaMonte Young - The Second Dream of the High-Tension Line Stepdown Transformer Morton Feldman - Three Voices (For Joan LaBarbara) (I forget - this might have track indexes for different sections but it's all one piece without breaks)

LaMonte Young - The Second Dream of the High-Tension Line Stepdown Transformer
His Just Stompin': Live At The Kitchen is one track split between two CDs. (And Well-Tuned Piano is presumably 5 or 6 discs.)

I thought of Klaus also...but I am pretty sure there is no one tracked release, there are many many 2 tracked ones.
