Probably my favorite composer working today...Scored Donnie Darko and Me and You and Everyone We Know. Released a solo album (never listened to it; is it good?) Now he's producing an Inara George record (with string arrangements by Van Dyke Parks!)

Dude is a badass. His solo album is wonderful - v. reminiscent of Jim O'Rourke c. "Eureka" (vocal similarities are uncanny, as well). Did some shows with him with and without Inara and I can happily report that he's super funny and down to earth.
