I have an MP3 of Cat Power with her Moon Pix band doing the best ever version of "Good Woman" at about the time of the Moon Pix release, live in studio of some Australian radio station, with an inane Australian DJ talking to her at the end of it saying "that was from one of your earlier recordings... next up, Metal Heart..." or something. Anyway -- so far above the version she eventually did record, I have to turn to I Love Music to ask, does anyone have any other recordings of this appearance?

it's from a disc called 'live and direct' that local label spunk put out. she also does a version of 'troubled waters' on it.

no, but the whole record was recorded here. the album shares a (now deceased) bass player with rowland s howard's last solo album
