Eva Cassidy lived in Bowie, Maryland not Annapolis. Good Charlotte are from Waldorf, Maryland I believe.

Cassidy's from Bowie, but lived in Annapolis for most of her active career. Same deal with GC: formed in Waldorf, moved to Crabtowne, got famous there. Close enough for me.

When I used to live in Baltimore, I saw signs for Jimmie's Chicken Shack constantly, and I thought "there's a hard-working local band I should try to go see at some point" but I never did. And I never found out what they sounded like. And as a very small apology to them I have voted for them in this poll.

The only thing wronger than the poll result here is the acdc cover band myth. They started as an even lamer Hated meets Joy Division thing called Hundreth (sic) Monkey.
