90's lo fi sort of, with great,sad songwriting and vocals.
Neutral milk hotel and sonic youth meets Bonie prince billy or something like that..

Some of those are good, and some of those are deterrents. In any case, I'm not really jumping at the chance to hear them.

That's exactly what I was thinking. This world is already not big enough for one Dan Bejar, much less two of them.

theres something sincere about this music,which i like.
anyway, i'm not one of Oldham's big fans , so if it was yet another folky thingy, i wouldnt bother.

i def. see 90's lo fi (early pavement,lou barlow,neutral milk) with 80's Galaxie 500/sonic youth.

no one seems to care , but this is a truely awesome record.

the Galaxie 500 meets sadcore never sounded better.
