Jazz version of the Beatles song. Seek it out and enjoy a completely awesome chilled out groove. The middle section is just such great drifting-at-sea stuff. Just thought I would mention it.

That second one is the one I keep hearing and digging.

Nice.....in turn I will mention the Syreeta Wright cover of "She's Leaving Home" with very weird production by Stevie Wonder.

Yeah, that cover is by far the best thing on the Syreeta album, as mentioned on this thread Hands up if you think the greatest Motown single is "I Can't Give Back the Love I Feel for You" by Rita Wright!

The track list for this looks pretty good - last song is an Ohio Players tune!
1. A Deeper Blue 2. This I Dig of You 3. I Thought About You 4. The Chant 5. She's Leaving Home 6. Never Knew Love Like This Before 7. Ceora 8. Short Story 9. Sweet Sticky Thing

I don't know if I've heard "Ceora" by Lee Morgan, but it's always listened in the first chapters of the Jazz Theory books as a song with an interval of a major seventh.

I gotta admit I didn't think this thread would see any action and today was totally work-work-work-stress and Deep Blue Organ Trio gave me some mellowness so I am really completely stoked to come back and find people have grooved on them before me! Jealous that some of you can see them play, from where I'm sitting that sounds like the best evening imaginable
