I love George Gossett! I'm always eager to read what George is going to proclaim the NEW black turtleneck music so I knows what to listen to when wearing a black turtleneck.

Alex in SF, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Veronica Inge.

Judd Nelson, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Or a lot of hate mail from Veronica.

Alex in SF, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Has to be Kilian Murphy!

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Everyone is ace! Cuddly old Tom, jazzy Mark S, nutty old progger Norm, the wicked Mr. Worrell, Lord Custus II jnr - he's potty!, Sir Pine of Fox, Mike 'oversampling' Jones, Jah Hopkins...... everyone

I heart you all.

Dr. C, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Can I change my vote please?

Jeff W, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

But seriously...has to be contrary old Ned Ragget. Ned = hilarity

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I don't know.......all the ILEheads. And the country fans, Anthony, Fritz. Ron cos he bought the Gram Parsons box set. Also double marks for Ron cos he said he bought it because of "Thousand Dollar Wedding" which is probably my favourite Gram Parsons song. Also Tim F for being up to date on all things dance and recommending the Deep Dish album which I'm now listening to.

And Michael Bourke, cos he's a fellow Irishman and he too knows his dance.

Ronan, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Murdoch!

jel --, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Ned = hilarity

I define it. But I also have two 't's in my last name.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

ooooh, who's the coolest kid in school?

laurie, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

ned = fellow numan fan. you're alright.

dyson, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I don't know. I haven't seen any ILM posters' members yet, so I don't think I could really say anything.

Christine "Green Leafy Dragon" Indigo, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Yoinks, scoob!

Todd Burns, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Tadeusz Suchodolski. The name, first of all, and coz he's not afraid to HONOR THE MUFFIN!

briania, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Ramosi is high-sterical. Where is Ramosi, anyway?

Sean, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Tadeusz Suchodolski. The name, first of all, and coz he's not afraid to HONOR THE MUFFIN!

Dammit, a little cunnilingus and some people just rocket to the top of people's favorites lists... *grumble*

(The preceeding sentence shows why no one has mentioned me yet.)

Dan Perry, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Nedd was already mentioned, Dan

Josh, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Nedd who? Ned Ragett?

Andy K, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Nedan lives!

Dan Perry, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Will you recognise me?
Call my name or walk on by
Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling
Down, down, down, down

Josh, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

These type of questions are the ILM equivalent of lying on the floor in the rec room combing My Pretty Pony's mane and putting stickers in our scrapbooks.

fritz, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Was that an obscure reference to me?

Judd Nelson, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

EEK!

fritz, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I meant Josh's post, not yiz.

Judd Nelson, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

fritz, isn't that what ILM all is about?

while sean guided me to adelescent sex ;-) I praise ned for his comprehension of the associates (he also made me listen to latterday marc almond which I did no like)

erik, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Erik, your address is interesting= Mietje. Does this have the same meaning in the Netherlands as it does in Belgium?

nathalie, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

What happened to Kodanshi (sp) the MASONNA fan? He was my favorite.

Mark, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

He got trapped in rotten.cum.

nathalie, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

no mention of momus?

mietje = sissy

erik from holland, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Just to be awkward - Doompatrol...

Nick Southall, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Erik from Holland is cute, btw.

*brushes My Little Pony's hair*

Sean, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Will you recognise me?

...and I will know you by the trail of BLOOD, GUTS AND OFFAL I will create by pounding you for bringing up that fucking song again!

Ned Raggett, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Nedan lives!

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the yin and yang. Give yourself unto Me Who is Us.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

mark s, though I'm disappointed that I didn't get lumped in with the country heads. Oh yeh that's why, I'm yet to talk about that 95% of my collection.

david h, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Seems to me that a lot of folks have since ceased and desisted from posting, which is a bit sad. I always read Dr.C's contributions, and Ned R. and Mark S. never fail to amuse...even when wallowing languidly in kiddie-pools of abject wrongness and thankless misinformation.

Oh, and I liked that guy who called me a 'douchebag' because I dared say something deragatory about the Walkmen. The Walkmen, it should be noted, continue to utterly felch, despite my arguable status as a douchebag. If capably identifying the Walkmen as woefully undertalented makes me a douchebag, then a douchebag I shall happily - - nay, proudly, SMUGLY even -- be.

Honour the Fire!

Alex in NYC, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

The idea that Fritz has a lot of experience brushing My Little Pony's hair and putting stickers in a scrapbook makes him #1 for me.

Ally, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Ally and I are now officially Bestest Friends 4-Ever.

fritz, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

i don't think he's been here long, but i'm'a say Lee Gardner because he rules, and puts it down for Baltimore.

al, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

We can have slumber parties in our undies and tank tops and brush each other's hair and do makeover and have pillow fights!

Ally, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Yay!

fritz, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

post the pictures on bitchcakes.

anaon, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

How about Anne?

I like so many ILMers, it's hard to say. All are amazing and frustrating in their own ways.

Clarke B., Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Why thank you, Clarke. *preens*

Naming favorites is too unfair, I value so many of you as friends. :-)

Ned Raggett, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Why does the anonymous person want these pictures? Do they have a shrine to us? I am intrigued. I think they'd rather have the pictures of the panty party I was telling the auditor about the other night. More people, etc.

Ally, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

ned's last remark sums it all up in a we-are-the-world kind of the way, so now let's all release a song together:

the queen is dead, long live mietje ;-)

erik from holland, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

>>> "who's [sic] critical musings you're always eager to read, who let [sic] you to new musical directions you before hadn't [sic?] even dreamt of, who makes laugh [sic] your socks off?"

I can't seem to limit it to one individual, so I'll have to say - Barbara and Elaine.

Murray, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

i like everybody. thanks for the kind words ronan. (ps i think ramosi is off busy being in love with his new girlfriend)

Ron, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

i wuv everyone cuz i am a drunk hippie. i might think (drink?) differently tomorrow!

nathalie, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I don't know about favourite but Mark S is the most influential.

Tom, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Is INFLUENCE rock?

Alex in SF, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

While you're having your little party, I'll be that kid in the corner gazing over at mark s, wondering what he sees in Level 42 but admiring his gumption at placing it on the Mickey Mouse kiddie rekkid player. (he also files threads like a MA NI AC!)

Sean Carruthers, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

william henry harrison, whigga with attitude

J Blount, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Yeah, Wm Shabazz is great, but Ma$e totally shut him down on that "ATTENTION ALL RAPPERS" thread. Ma$e is like a fucking inspiring and shit.

Alex in SF, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Momus or the guy with the fab database

A Nairn, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

just cuz you all fancy me and dream about me does not mean influence exists, only imitation and lust and wonder

mark s, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

...and Level 42 rekkids!

Sean Carruthers, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

You better recogni$e.

Your Pal,
http://members.aol.com/dubplatestyle/mase.jpg
Ma$e.

Ma$e., Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I like the guys in the Exodus threads. "We will show you how we feel about your music you cum slurping man hore."

Nate Patrin, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I love all of you guys of course.. but, at this point, since every post he made has been 100% engaging thus far, mi #1 es John Darnielle...

Brian MacDonald, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I am suprised nobody has mentioned Nitsuh. He might not be the most entertaining, but I have always found his posts thoughtful and insightful. He always stuck me as a fairly deep guy. What ever happened to him?

mt, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Nitsuh is here...just look for Nabisco. :-) And yeah, John D. is a Worthy Man.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 3 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

The Church of Ned Raggett (25 Different People)

Here is a church, Here’s its steeple - Look inside, See all the people; Open the thumbs and see the fingers: A Raggett full of ringers, Bushrangers and boasters – Twenty five different posters … There’s loads: Robin Carmody and Nick Rhodes, Limiter Garner, Tom, Jeff Duff … Will there never be enough?! At the weekends, Raggett shoots grouse In the grounds of his country house; And the finger, pulling the trigger, In his study, clicks the mouse; But his finger is stronger and bigger On his ‘Lord of the Rings’ mouse-pad - When his tortured characters add Their comments to a thread. Open the doors – look inside Ned, Where all our prayers are poured. His hand is a church - his fingers, his flock; And this starry discussion board Still shudders with the shock Of the big bang. Will Raggett, like Kelly, hang - His head, through the noose of his mouse. At the weekend, Raggett shoots grouse, Drinking brandy from a flask; His mouse is his noose, his mask; A different e-mail, a made-up name: He loads his gun, takes aim, And curses the game he missed, Clicking the mouse with his fist.

Roy Blows, Saturday, 4 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

*still laughing* What a beautiful way to start my morning. Thanks. :-)

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 4 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

People I always pay attention to: Ned, Ally, mark s, Tom. There's a couple others whose names don't come to mind.

Justyn Dillingham, Saturday, 4 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
