(London) Two Free Tix (Really!) to Zombies' 3/8 Odessey Show at SBE

My Craigslist ad below, which had no takers, surprisingly. No joke! First responder will receive them in the mail.

I purchased two tickets to the Zombies' Odessey 40th anniversary full reunion gig -- March 8, 2008 at Shepherds Bush Empire -- when they went on sale last spring and unfortunately will not be able to make the trip from New York. They are in the center section, Row/Box B. I hope I can treat a fan.

Because I am giving them away! Simply reply to this post, you don't have to include much info. I will reply and you can then provide your mailing address and I will mail them to you.

Enjoy the show!

That is, the full group (minus the late Paul Atkinson) are playing the full album and singles for its 40th anniversary.

Damn i wish i'd seen this thread 2 days ago. Oh well, if they're gone..

Frogman Henry, Friday, 15 February 2008 06:43 (seventeen years ago)

Frogman, it's 2am in Kateworld. You'll probably hear back in 6hrs or so.

the higgs, Friday, 15 February 2008 07:09 (seventeen years ago)

It does surprise me that almost two days would go by without somebody in London claiming them.
Four original members doing all of O&O, as opposed to singles/stuff from new album/ odd Argent thing thrown in like they usually do.

Truth.

If Timi Yuro would be still alive, most other singers could shut up, Friday, 15 February 2008 10:09 (seventeen years ago)

So, Drum Roll, keith!

Mark G, Friday, 15 February 2008 10:24 (seventeen years ago)

Frogman, they're yours! (thanks for the revive, Higgs). e-mail your address to katefsilver at yahoo and I'll get them in the mail.

Sadly, it means they'll play "Butcher's Tale." No getting around that one.

I guess they aren't playing the same set for their upcoming American tour...? And the band members may be different?

curmudgeon, Friday, 15 February 2008 17:01 (seventeen years ago)

Thankyou Kate!!!

Frogman Henry, Friday, 15 February 2008 18:32 (seventeen years ago)

Are they doing another U.S. tour? I've seen Blunstone/Argent and their band a few times, and they're great.

Kate, Friday, 15 February 2008 20:56 (seventeen years ago)

I got an e-mail from the Birchmere (a club near Wash. DC) that says the Zombies featuring Blunstone/Argent on Tuesday July 15th, so I was just guessing they're playing elsewhere in the US this summer as well.

curmudgeon, Friday, 15 February 2008 21:11 (seventeen years ago)

Wow, the Birchmere. That's an intimate room - 300 or 350 or so, right?
