(i'm a) Snob alert - preferred Jehu
second track sounds like Big Boys tribute band

I think most people preferred Jehu, and that's not a snobby thing to say if you ever saw Jehu live.

Sounds OK I guess. Really just makes me miss Hot Snakes.
And preferring Jehu just kinda goes without saying.

Loving the Night Marchers album (found a promo for a pound in Soho!). These are for sure some of the catchiest songs Reis has ever done.
Bring on Obits!

sweet i kinda forgot that this was coming out.

Anyone actually catch one of the recent Night Marchers shows? I missed 'em on Wednesday last. Still hurting. (Actually, I missed tons of stuff last weekend: also Indian Jewelry w/ Pyramids, Blood On the Wall w/ Eat Skull. Why do cool shows so often coincide with no money and/or death of the will?)

New one (Allez Allez) is pretty great! It also contains definitely one of my top 5 Reis song titles, "Fisting the Fan Base".

Love the track where he sings the title. I wish I could teleport to San Diego to see them at the Casbah.
