Rafi's Revenge by Asian Dub Foundation?

Good guess, I think they were lumped in with them. If it's any help the first quote is from Melody Maker, second from Mary Anne Hobbs and the third's from Jo Wiley.

Billy Dods, Friday, 15 February 2008 20:15 (seventeen years ago)

ADF's debut was in 1995 though.

Tuomas, Saturday, 16 February 2008 11:05 (seventeen years ago)

Though I guess Rafi was their breakthrough LP.

Tuomas, Saturday, 16 February 2008 11:08 (seventeen years ago)

This would be a bit easier if I knew what "dun" means.

How To Operate With A Blown Mind by Lo-Fidelity Allstars?

Matt DC, Saturday, 16 February 2008 13:34 (seventeen years ago)

I bet that's right, actually.

blurillaz?

electricsound, Saturday, 16 February 2008 13:40 (seventeen years ago)

Lo-Fi Allstars is the closest so far, but it isn't as good as that, which gives you an idea of how wretched it is.

Billy Dods, Saturday, 16 February 2008 13:40 (seventeen years ago)

Ach, I'll put you out of your misery...

Never heard of that.

Tuomas, Saturday, 16 February 2008 13:47 (seventeen years ago)

Hey, nothing to do with the most inconceivably brilliant debut album of 1998, but is there a thread such as "Help me figure out what band this is"? That's what this thread title seemed like to me.

kingkongvsgodzilla, Saturday, 16 February 2008 14:03 (seventeen years ago)

Good grief that's bad. Can we have a source for the quotes please?

Matt DC, Saturday, 16 February 2008 14:16 (seventeen years ago)

You can tell it's fucking Hobbs who's quoted in the second one.
