I'm very fond of Simple Dreams, the Waddy Watchel-album on which she finally learned to rock and roll for two whole sides. It's got one of the best Stones covers too ("Tumbling Dice").

the 2cd comp of her first 4 capitol records is worth checking out, the early country rock stuff is fun because its closer to a flying burrito bros vibe. by the 3rd or 4th record, the genre as a whole, and her sound too, had become way more eagles-ish.
