this is true for now and probably only in certain circles. he's a nice, interesting guy, and been involved with some real musical highpoints this decade, but im surprised they have endured such acclaim as long as they have given the fickle nature of fandom in this blog eat blog world

i post about indie. not exclusively though
anyhoo, i really like animal collective, but 'strawberry jam' arrived at a time when i really wasn't ready for anything new from them. i was still getting my head around the admittedly fantastic 'feels'.
similar deal with this new ep. will let the ongoing buzz about this band die a bit, before i decide to listen to it
