And which one would be improved by the addition of the Tasty Brothers?

I don't know either of them, but to kickstart the thread, what about the Electric LIght Orchestra? Mahavishnu Orchestra? Penguin Cafe Orchestra? Science Gravy Orchestra? Talk about the sociological relevance of bands that have used the word 'Orchestra' in their name. What are they trying to say about themselves...? (I know, stupid question ... just trying to get the converation going.)

The social relevance of non-Orchestras billing themselves as such: it's a grift--they're trying to dupe classical fans who've wandered into the wrong section of the store, of course. Hey, it worked on me...

Supplemental question: Why the "misspellings"? Arkestra; Ex-Orkestra, etc. A knowing wink, perhaps?

PS I prefer Mahavisnhu Orchestra as my own non-orch.--well, that or the MBV Arkestra...

somehow any classical fan who bought a record MADE BY ELEPHANTS and didn't realize, deserves to be duped.

I saw the London Improvisers Orchestra at Conway Hall last night. The future of music is here. More to follow on Church of Me within the week.

RUTHLESS! RUTHLESS!
