Hmm. It's always a bad sign when bands pad out their albums with celebrity guests; usually indicates they're running out of ideas.

Shortwave Set's debut album was hideous, crunchy, overly-hot mush in terms of sonics / mastering, to the extent that it ruined a set of great tunes and arrangements. Dangermouse does not have a track record of doing anything whatsoever to alleviate these sonic sins. Not hopeful.
