Inspired by the revived "Avalon" thread: Do you ever find yourself on the other side of the fence from everybody else?
I guess I'm not a *real* Roxy Music fan because my favorite album is "Avalon"
I guess I'm not a *real* Guided by Voices fan because my favorite song is "I Am a Tree"
I guess I'm not a *real* Smiths fan because my favorite song is "How Soon Is Now"
Actually, maybe this just means I'm a lightweight.

See?
And as far as "How Soon Is Now," all I can say is amen, and thankfully.

That Japan album is great! I hated it when I bought it back in the 80s but it sure has grown on me.
My answer: Skinny Puppy's "Greater Wrong of the Right". I know Thermo would kill me for that one for starters.

But why is the Aphex Twin logo there at the bottom?
― Hideous Lump, Sunday, 24 February 2008 06:49 (eighteen years ago)
Hahaha...I haven't seen that TV Ontario logo since, like, 1982.

You know, that one is Ride's Powerpop/Britpop album, whereas the rest of their albums were more about shoegazing and guitar noise.
― Geir Hongro, Sunday, 24 February 2008 22:07 (eighteen years ago)
