My vote for "I Feel Fine", which I believe is possibly my first Beatles vote here.

Help! Can only imagine how exciting the intro must've been in 1965.

Stiff competetion from day Tripper/We Can Work it Out though. Every Beatles entry is top-notch, in fact.

Y'know, I went with "For Your Love," though I was sorely tempted by some of the others. "For Your Love" just strikes me as one of those perpetually underrated tunes, and I've been on a big Yardbirds kick lately, so there ya go.

Yes, it has to be The Beatles in 1965. I've gone for Tripper/Work It. Love the greasiness of the opening riff in Tripper; I can almost smell the petrol.

"My Generation." Tomorrow, or just the end of time?

Dingbod Kesterson, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:55 (seventeen years ago)

Just to be contrary, I've gone for "The price of love", for that big slashing intro and the way Don and Phil really spit out the lyrics. They mean it, maan.

Contary, maybe, but it's the last great Everly Brothers song nevertheless.

Geir Hongro, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 10:50 (seventeen years ago)

(Coughs and splutters) I respect your opinion, but have a different opinion myself, but this isn't the place for such an argument.

Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.

Automatic thread bump. This poll's results are now in.

guess it wasn't Go Now then.

Ah, OK with this, but these year ones don't tend to throw up too many surprises at the top, right?

Mark G, Tuesday, 18 March 2008 00:08 (seventeen years ago)

..m?

Mark G, Tuesday, 18 March 2008 08:10 (seventeen years ago)

Surprised at "Ticket To Ride" getting no votes.
