Prompted by the mention of "Slaughtahouse" by Masta Ace, which is basically jeep beats up and down the entire album.

What's the difference between DJ Premiere (from New York) who I kind of think of as the ultimate jeep beats dude and West Coast beats? Can you draw a line?

in my mind, jeep beats have that really solid and oomphy but not tight kick drum, usually sustained for a bit so it vibrates everything to within an inch of its life.
