i'm kind of leaning towards "take away" because it's just such a breathtakingly beautiful song, but then there's "i care 4 u" and "try again" and "ugly" and "ryde or die bitch" and "get ur freak on"... I dunno.

and "whats my name pt. 2" is one of snoops more underrated singles

I'll give you "Ugly" and "freak"....but the power of "raise up" is really unstoppable...if you'd have ever taken your shirt off and twisted it round your head like a helicopter in passion for this great song then you'd know...

I've been listening to "More Than a Woman" a whole lot lately, so I'll rep for that ahead of "Get Ur Freak On" and "Roll Out."

I almost voted for "Ugly" but then I realized that "Ryde Or Die Bitch" is probably my favorite Timbaland produced beat that has ever happened.

timbaland rap beats were a huge part of my musical life as a teen but the production songs on the aaliyah tracks are so otherworldly it's kind of no contest down to those i think

even with missy stuff you could argue that tim was working with a well-known palate as far as dirty south rap goes ("get ur freak on" kind of blows this theory out of the water but w/e) but the aaliyah tracks rewrote the book so thoroughly and commandingly

I don't think anything sounds like it, still.

very hard indeed but I might go with "try again" as I was totally fascinated by that song at the time... how many times I've listened to it being blasted by the production...aaah, this elastic synth, for instance... "freak" and "resolution" are close behind.

I would have voted "Get Ur Freak On" if I didn't want to make sure "I Told Y'all" got at least one vote, because that beat just murders, so I voted that instead.
