Booze and polls and powders - the Keith poll

Songs Keef has taken lead (or co-lead) vocals on. I kept it to official studio releases, but feel free to nominate others. Or talk about his X-pensive Winos (?). I think I've got the Talk is Cheap lp that I found for like $0.99 stashed somewhere. I don't really remember that well though. Maybe I'll pull it out tonight.

I haven't heard a single one of these post-"Wanna Hold You" (which I love).

I'm leaning "Happy", but "Before they Make Me Run" and "Little T&A" make a strong case. And "All About You."

Keith!

Good poll idea!

A real lip chewer. Between "Sleep Tonight, "All About You, "Before They Make Me Run," and "Thru and Thru," we're talking about some of these are my favorite Stones songs.

I choose "Sleep Tonight" because too many people on this board inexplicably don't like Dirty Work.

"Happy" easy

Shakey Mo Collier, Friday, 14 March 2008 16:09 (seventeen years ago)

a couple of these are just blah. "Coming Around Again" is melancholy looking for a song; "Wanna Hold You" sounds like rote Ronnie Wood.

Silver

I've never given it a chance. I originally jumped off the bus at Tatoo You (which stands among my favorites) but I've spent the last couple of years really digging Undercover. Next time I see DW for a dollar I'll give it a spin.

"Happy" over "Before They Make Me Run".

I think I should have left the first three and "Memory Motel" off because it muddies things but ah well. "Connection" is pretty great.
