Did anyone here take it?
305 multiple choice questions in 60 minutes. I shoved answers at 274 of 'em. Got 165 right.
Better than I expected, that's for sure (by about 100).

I won it in 1999.

Timi Yuro - cool!!! Did you get 100 CDs?
Yeah, whiney, that's kinda sucky of me, eh? I figured there'd be a thread about it, got here, searched, and came up with nothing. I figured this was better than nothing.
Congrats one up one winning in '99. Very cool.
Nice job, Mr. McCombs.

Do you have an Alice Cooper anecdote, Timi Yuro?

Devo were the hosts when I went to L.A. to "give up the title" in 2000. They were wheeled in wheelchairs, dressed as elderly men. Their "nurses" wore latex. Rodney Bingenheimer was also there.

*wheeled in in wheelchairs*
I took it online, but had to cook dinner, so raced through the whole thing in 35 minutes instead of looking up stuff I didn't know. Got, I think, 219 right.

Isn't looking things up cheating?
― Whiney G. Weingarten, Sunday, 16 March 2008 15:33 (seventeen years ago)
They expressly permitted it, with the logic that if you're answering 300 questions in an hour, any time spent looking stuff up is pretty much time wasted.

I did it one year, did quite well! But, being UK based, not allowed to win prizes.
