AKA the 1978 reissue on Fetish vs. the original pressing on Industrial...

One of my all time favorite albums, and probably the best 'noise' record of all time, Sometimes I think the backwards version sounds better...

Are either of these terribly rare?

i had the backwards one for years before i found out that a forwards version even existed. i thought it was supposed to sound that way. ah, the days before the internets....

The backwards version is fairly uncommon these days I think, simply because the 90's Mute reissue was the "regular one". In the early/mid 80's the backwards one was more common, it was the first one I found on vinyl although I had heard the regular version before that.

I have to vote for the forwards one because you can understand the words to "Slug Bait".

And as zappi noted, this was all very confusing at the time although the Re/Search book on TG cleared it up.
