if you say it out loud, either nobody else will have heard of it so it won't matter; people who know it will say "oh THAT'S how that's pronounced"; or they'll say "i thought it was vocal city" and you can say "no it's voCALcity, i read that somewhere online." the only conceivable danger of embarrassment would be if sasu ripatti was standing behind you and overheard you and corrected you in front of everyone. then you're pretty much screwed. the key is to avoid that kind of party.
