Seems that the DVD single is dying out. Nothing as ancient as yesterdays future.
Now it's download tracks and/or CD single and/or 7" version, the old DVD single may be extincting. So what did we get that was worth waiting 2 minute for the DVD to load the menu, and then 30 seconds for the selection to register?

Pulp's "Bad cover version", basically a take on the BandAid(1) film with 'stars in their eyes' contestants.
Oasis always put demo versions and documentaries on theirs. Check Liam and JMarr's "Songbird" one.
Robbie Williams 'won' sort-of, with "Something beautiful" where the main part shows three contestants aiming to be 'Robbie', and just before the end of the song the DVD stops and gets you to choose the winner, at which point you see them getting the prize and Meeting rob.
Dud: All those that actually only played the music track, and if you were lucky an old video for a different song.

Oh, and Belle and Sebastian's "I'm a Cuckoo" one. And the "Funny little frog" one too, which may well be the last one...

one year passes...
i enjoyed the gorillaz ones for the jamie hewlett artwork extras (story boards of the videos basically), but other than those, nah, not really.
