old friend of mine used to rep HARD for A.W., said that no matter what you thought of his look or feel his records were awesome
― J0hn D., Friday, 4 April 2008 23:20 (seventeen years ago)
Yeah, it's actually pretty decent. Very chill stuff. And I will give him, that cover did make me want to buy the album, just probably not for the reason that he intended.

I first read this as "old friend of mine used to play HARP for A.W."

Wow...drums and percussion on the same album? Are we sure that's not too much of a good thing?

if you've gone to disney world between 1987 and 1999 more than once, Vollenweider is forever burned into your brain
― PappaWheelie V, Saturday, 5 April 2008 03:54 (seventeen years ago)
Caverna Magica (...Under The Tree -- In The Cave} is better! (Actually, I don't know that, but it's the only Vollenweider LP I own, so I can pretend. It was good enough to keep though! And it has an ever weirder cover -- almost kinda spooky! If it came out now you'd think it was ambient metal or something. And it came from a dollar bin, too!)

dollar bin laden

Listening to the album right now. It's pretty good! Very peaceful, and the man really knows his way around a harp (somewhat modified), woodwind instruments, soprano saxophone, vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, accordion, and a few colours painted with PROPHET 5 and OBERHEIM OBXa synthesizers.

I bet Eddie Van Halen could really shred on an electric harp.
